Ok.
This is my VERY FIRST time linking up with Teaching Trio's Favorite Things Linky Party. I've seen blog posts about Linky Parties and quite frankly I didn't have the slightest idea what they were. BUT thanks to the #tptsellerchallenge I have really been working on getting myself involved in the blogosphere. (Is that even a word?) So when Kristen Doyle invited me to participate I decided, what the heck? I'll try it.
I have to admit that I spent probably WAY too much time getting my three favorites organized, but I'm really excited to share my some of my favorite things to do in the summer.
READ, CREATE, SLEEP...
Repeat!
Thanks for checking out my blog post.
If you have any ideas for good books leave them in the comments below. I'm almost done with this one so I need some suggestions.

I absolutely adore that mug! How stinkin' cute! Unfortunately, my current reading list consists of novels for fourth graders, so I can't really suggest anything phenomenal. I'm moving to a new grade level, and I'm trying to get familiar with some of the books I plan on using. (if you haven't read the Hunger Games series, I would highly recommend it though!) Oh, and I'm right there with you as far as sleep! I have three small children, but I sleep as late as they will let me and try to sneak in a nap when they all three nap simultaneously! Welcome to the world of blogging and linky parties!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! At one point I had close to 50 monster mugs. I laid them all out on my kitchen table and took a picture of them. It was like a monster army.
DeleteOh my goodness, your mugs are SO awesome!!!! How fun to get to create those during the summer!! :)

Thank you! Most of the ones I've made so far are going to be gifts for family members, but I'm starting to stock pile a bunch to maybe sell at a craft fair around Christmas time.
DeleteI am OBSESSED with your precious monsters! So cute! You are so very talented! Glad you have the time to spend on it! I totally GET that sleeping late is different for different people! Yep, 7:30 would be late for me, too! Sadly...I have become such a multi-tasker (over-doer), I have found it hard to turn my brain off to enjoy a good read! Maybe I need a glass of wine! LOL!

3rd Grade Pad
I had that exact problem last night! I was laying in bed until 2:00 AM wishing I could fall asleep. I just couldn't turn my brain off. I finally made four pages of lists, put on a sleeping mask, and force myself to go to sleep.
